2015 Has Been the Worst Year of My Life says Khloe Kardashian

2016 probably can't come sooner enough for Khloe Kardashian.

The 31-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star said on Twitter on Wednesday, while chatting with fans, that 2015 has so far been, "hands down," the "worst year of my life lol."

However, she says, she feels "better every day."

The last month or so has been particularly stressful. On Oct. 13, Lamar Odom was hospitalized for a drug overdose after being found unconscious in a Las Vegas brothel. Khloe flocked to his bedside at a hospital and helped take care of him.

She later accompanied him as he was transported to a medical center in Los Angeles and has since continued to support him. Amid his medical scare, they also canceled their divorce petition as he continues to heal.

Meanwhile, the ordeal has helped take a toll on her own health; Khloe recently contracted a staph infection.

"Mine was exacerbated by stress which is not a great combo," she said on Twitter on Saturday. "I'm under great medical care & receiving tons of love!"

In February, Khloe and several family members had another scare: They got into a car accident during a ski trip, just before the 2015 Oscars. No one was hurt.

Also earlier in the year, Khloe and her family dealt with Caitlyn Jenner's public transition from a man to a woman, following her divorce from the reality star's mom, Kris Jenner. Caitlyn, formerly known as Bruce Jenner, documented her journey on the E! docu-series, I Am Cait.

"It was difficult for me that Bruce wasn't honest with me," Khloe told Redbook. The transition had nothing to do with it...I love Caitlyn. She still likes us to call her our dad, but it's hard when, you know, Dad's now wearing a dress."

2015 has also yielded many positive, personal things for Khloe.

She began dating NBA star James Harden and they appear to still be together.

And speaking of health, and after battling weight issues for years, Khloe lost at least 35 pounds and got super fit, with the help of her personal trainer. She also recently released her first solo book, Strong Looks Better Naked.

"I didn't think I was the fat sister until people would call me that," Khloe told E! News' Maria Menounos at a signing for the book.

"It did make me strong for sure and being able to endure that stuff but it also makes me realize how like f--ked up people are," she said, adding, "I understand why some people succumb to eating disorders or just the peer pressure, I do get that. But I'm proud of myself that I didn't and I'm able to walk away and actually say it made me stronger."

Khloe is currently looking forward to Thanksgiving with her family. And despite her own illness, she is determined to take on what could be quite the challenging task, given the size of the Kardashian and Jenner clan.

"Happy thanksgiving!! Up early cooking away for my entire family for this afternoon. Started a few things last night. Who's cooking already?" she tweeted on Thursday.

A tad lethargic from the medication I'm on but I am determined," she said. "Cooking is my therapy. Well being a hostess is!"

Khloe Kardashian Hosts Thanksgiving at Home, Also Plans to Visit Lamar Odom at Hospital

The 32-year-old Keeping Up With the Kardashians star is hosting Thanksgiving dinner at her home for her famous family and friends on Thursday and also plans to celebrate the holiday with another person close to her heart: Lamar Odom.

The 36-year-old former NBA star has been hospitalized since October, when he suffered a drug overdose. Khloe has helped take care of him, although she recently contracted a staph infection that has kept her away.

On Thursday, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star posted on her Instagram page a few photos of her delicious-looking Thanksgiving spread, including a delectable turkey, savory sides and a countertop covered in deserts as well as a description of her holiday plans in a post on her website, titled, "Why I'm Extra Thankful This Thanksgiving."

"After our family Thanksgiving dinner is over, I invite friends to join, especially friends who don't have family around," she said. "So we have a family Thanksgiving, a friends Thanksgiving, and this year I will also be having a hospital Thanksgiving."

"Thanksgiving is a time to gather around loved ones," she added. "Whether they are blood or bond...to be grateful for all that we have been so abundantly blessed with and also to spare a few thoughts and prayers for those not so lucky. No matter where you are in life you can always find something to be thankful for."

Kylie Jenner pronounced herself "bout to tear this dinner up" on Instagram and shared a video tour of Khloe's impressive-looking table, which, no surprise, looked like a page out of a magazine.

Mom Kris Jenner also couldn't wait to try Khloe's homemade monkey bread, regramming her daughter's tempting-looking spread and predicting the dessert would be "so f--king bomb."

"The key to contentment lies solely in being thankful for what one has been blessed with. Stop looking at what you don't have and pay attention to the blessings around you," Khloe captioned her own gorgeous table pic on Instagram. "Manifest beauty in your life. Only then will one be blessed with more. Happy Thanksgiving my loves!!! @jeffleatham I am so honored you did my flowers for my annual thanksgiving!!! Your work and energy is one of a kind!!! Thank you Team Leatham!!"

Someone seems to be feeling better after living through a roller-coaster past couple of months.

Khloe recently said 2015 has been the "worst year" of her life.

"I am someone who tries to always keep things in perspective," she wrote on her website. "This year I have a deeper insight and possibly a deeper perspective now."

"I pride myself as someone who does live in the moment and as someone who shows gratitude in every corner," she said. "And I have been blessed this year with me getting another layer of what I am thankful for."

Kourtney Kardashian Celebrates First Thanksgiving With Son Reign in Matching Fuzzy White Outfits

For the perfect Thanksgiving ensemble, Kourtney Kardashian opted for matching fuzzy outfits. The 36-year-old mom of three shared an adorable selfie of her with her youngest child, 11-month-old son Reign Disickon Thanksgiving. While the baby boy is adorable all on his own, the mother-son duo elevated the level of cuteness by wearing the coordinating white outfits.

"First Thanksgiving. #blessed," the reality star captioned the shot posted to her Instagram account.

Baby Reign is the youngest of three, behind sister Penelope Disick, 3, and Mason Disick, 5 , all three of which Kourtney had with her longtime partner, ex-boyfriend

It has been a tough end of year personally for the oldest Kardashian daughter, who broke up with Disick four months ago over the 4th of July weekend.

"Kourtney has always taken Scott back and been by his side, but now with three kids it has gotten old," a source told E! News at the time. "Kourtney has to do what's best for the kids."

After Disick checked himself into rehab for treatment on Oct. 14, the exes were spotted out and about just a day ago having lunch without their trio of kids.

The former couple came together with their children again on Thanksgiving, during which they posed for a family photo alongside most of the Kardashians and Jenners while celebrating the holiday at sister Khloe's house.

We're excited about their family reunion almost as much as we are about Kourt and Reign's coordinating threads. Just look at that hat!

Adele Single 'Hello' Hits 500 Million Video Streams, CD Sales Pop

Adele is crushing it like no one before when it comes to sales. What does this mean for streaming and the music industry?

Adele’s new album, 25, debuted a week ago, and the numbers so far are staggering. The album has reportedly sold nearly 3 million copies, including 1.45 million digital ones, which breaks a weekly record set in 1991 by boy-band ‘NSYNC. Meanwhile, the first single from the album, Hello, had already been viewed nearly 500 million times as of Thanksgiving afternoon.

To put this in context, Hello, has been out for only a few days and is already on Vevo’s “most viewed of all time” list, where it could soon eclipse the list’s #1 (Taylor Swift’s Blank Space) and #2 (Justin Bieber’s Baby).

Here is a screenshot, showing a counter at the bottom of Vevo, where the video single appears:

Meanwhile, Adele seems to have single-handedly brought about a return to relevance of CDs. Based on Billboard’s report, Adele has sold over a million of the things—even if many millennials don’t know how to play them. Ironically, it appears some people bought the CD only as a cheaper way to get hold of an online version through Amazon (which gives shoppers a free digital copy of any CD they buy through an “AutoRip” program):

All of this will no doubt provide further grist for the music industry, which has been in a furious debate over how and when musicians should stream their songs. Unlike nearly everyone else, Adele chose not to let streaming services like Spotify or Apple Music play 25. The only song currently available for streaming is Hello, which Adele is hosting on her own Vevo channel (songs can also be heard on Pandora but that’s a different situation because Pandora is a radio service that doesn’t let users call up a song on-demand).

The upshot is that some may be tempted to follow Adele’s example in hope that a lack of streaming options will lead fans to buy the music instead. While Taylor Swift has likewise advocated for this approach, the reality is that shutting off streaming may be feasible only for a tiny handful of mega-mega-stars like Swift and Adele. Everyone else, especially those who lacks the stars’ massive marketing machine, may find that the exposure and ad money they get from streaming is worth more than holding out for album sales.

5 Things To Know About The Rapper Diagnosed With Kidney Cancer and Lil Boosie

Lil Boosie sadly revealed that he has reportedly been diagnosed with kidney cancer. Now, as we continue to learn more about his scary condition, we’ve rounded up five crucial things you need to know about the rapper.

Lil Boosie, 33 — also known as Boosie Badazz — was recently released early from jail just one year ago only to learn that he has now allegedly been diagnosed with kidney cancer. The rapper revealed the tragic news on his Instagram page on Nov. 25, just one day before the Thanksgiving holiday. As the details behind his scary condition continue to come out, we’ve pulled together five facts you need to know about the struggling rapper. Learn more about him here.

1. First, his scary diagnosis.

The Louisiana rapper revealed the upsetting news to his fans in an Instagram post on Nov. 25.“I need all my fans to pray for me,” Lil Boosie allegedly captioned a photo of himself eating on Instagram on Wednesday, Nov. 25, reports TMZ. “Doctor just told me I have cancer on my kidneys.” The alleged caption ended with Boosie asking fans to pray for him, including “prayfaboosie,” which appears to be the suggested hashtag to use. However, it wasn’t long before the alleged caption was eventually deleted from the photo, which the report claims was a result of Boosie’s team — manager, publicist, etc. — who were NOT happy with his decision to reveal the scary news. He has also reportedly been living with diabetes for several years. So sad

2. He was unexpectedly released from prison early.

Lil Boosie, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, was unexpectedly released from a Louisiana State Penitentiary back in March 2014, where he had been since 2009, after he was charged with third degree possession of Marijuana. While in prison, he reportedly got busted for attempting to smuggle drugs (codeine syrup). It looked like Boosie’s prison sentence was going to be increased by eight more years, but that didn’t come to pass. Upon his release, a rep for for the penitentiary told the media that Boosie would be on parole until 2018.

3. He reportedly wrote more than 1,000 songs while in prison

Lil Boosie may have been locked up, but that didn’t stop him from working on his music. After his release in March, he told reporters that he was planning on releasing a new album soon, as he wrote over 1,000 song while in prison. At the time, Lil Boosie said he had listened to some of today’s rap music and believed the industry was “wide open” for him to jump back in and become one of today’s most relevant rap stars. He was even said to have written a song about Justin Bieber!

4. He released his first post-jail song just two days after being released.

Upon getting out of a Louisiana State Penitentiary on Mar. 5, Lil Boosie wasted no time getting right back in the game — the rap game, that is — recording his first track in the free world since going into prison in 2009. The song, “Same Game,” featured rhymes pumping with Boosie style, and talks about what it’s like to be in “the rap game,” how it’s still the same game as it’s always been and how it is very similar to a “crap game.” In other words, like the popular dice game, you never know what’s going to happen to you when you are a rapper.

5. He caught heat for going on a homophobic rant just days before revealing his diagnosis.

Lil Boosie came under the line of fire after going on an offensive homophobic tirade on Instagram on Nov. 23. In the lengthy rant, the rapper expressed that since being released from prison, he has been confronted with gay story lines whenever he turns on the TV (he mentions Empire and Love & Hip-Hop specifically),

Our thoughts remain with Lil Boosie as well as his friends and family during this difficult time.

The Captain America: Civil War trailer fills in more of the movie's plot

Yeah, we've known for a while that Tony Stark (a.k.a. Iron Man) and Steve Rogers (a.k.a. Captain America) would be at odds in this movie, and the trailer confirms that their conflict will arise from a government program meant to somehow "limit" the authority of superheroes.

It makes sense that Tony would be partial to this idea. After all, it was his experimentation that unleashed the threat of Ultron onto the world in Avengers: Age of Ultron. His attempts to get Steve to sign on appear to form the backbone of Civil War.

What's less certain is just why Steve is so hellbent on protecting his old pal Bucky Barnes (formerly the villainous Winter Soldier in the previous Captain America film) from facing any sort of consequences for, y'know, all the evil things he did in the last movie. Sure, he wasn't operating entirely under his own power, but Steve seems convinced that Bucky's left those days behind him based entirely on his word — at least in the trailer.

Hero against hero

The draw of Captain America: Civil War, and the comic book storyline it was based off of, is seeing how Marvel's superheroes pick and choose which side of the battle they're on. Superheroes share a common belief in doing good, but each one has a sliding scale and a limit of what "good" and "evil" mean to them. The trailer shows us who sides with Captain America — it's Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen), Falcon, and Bucky Barnes:

On the other side, we see Iron Man and War Machine take on this team. They're joined by Black Panther (Chadwick Boseman). This is Black Panther's debut, and our first look at the costume and his powerset (fighting skills, acrobat, enhances strength) as he takes down Bucky:

Obviously, the full film will add context to all of this (like the real possibility that Bucky faces something worse than a fair trial or something similar), but for now, the Civil War trailer is appropriately tantalizing.

2 More in Custody, 1 Released, in Minneapolis 'Black Lives Matter' Protest Shooting

Minneapolis police took two more men into custody this afternoon in connection with the multiple shootings at a Black Lives Matter protest Monday night.

The men, who police said were both white, one 26 and the other 21, turned themselves in voluntarily around 2:30 p.m., and were being interviewed by investigators.

Earlier, police said they had arrested two other men: a 23-year-old white male and a 32-year-old Hispanic male. The 32-year-old has since been released, after investigators determined he was not at the shooting scene.

Police have not released the names of any of the individuals in custody, and said their names would not be released unless charges are filed, police said.

Investigators are still looking for additional suspects, according to a police statement.

The FBI confirmed it is "coordinating with the Minneapolis Police Department and participating in a review of the incident to determine if further federal action is necessary," according to a statement from FBI Minneapolis spokesman Kyle Loven.

A Facebook event page, hosted by the Minneapolis chapter of Black Lives Matter and promoting this afternoon's planned protest, alleges that "4 White Supremacists shot 5 unarmed protesters" Monday night. There has been no independent confirmation that white supremacists were involved.
